However, providers are still required to report cases of other serious illnesses 鈥渁s soon as practical鈥� and within 14 days of the notifiable event.

The update comes just weeks after a record 4,752 providers reported cases of Covid-19 at their in the week commencing 9 January 2022 and as statistics showed a total of 4,559 reports in the week commencing 31 January 2022.
