Deadline extended for Alliance Outstanding Member Awards

The deadline for entries to the has been extended until Friday 23 March 2018.
 
This means that there is still time to nominate an outstanding individual or team who has made a real difference to the learning and care of young children in your community.
 
There are four award categories:
  • Outstanding Early Years Individual of the Year
  • Outstanding Early Years Team of the Year
  • Outstanding Newcomer of the Year
  • Lifetime Achievement Award 2018
If you are an Alliance member practitioner or volunteer, you can nominate yourself, your team, or others. Any childcare service is eligible, including pre-schools, nurseries, children’s centres, crèches, childminders and baby and toddler groups.
 
Families are encouraged to get involved and provide positive testimonials or feedback.
 
Individuals nominated for Outstanding Early Years Individual of the of the Year or Outstanding Early Years Team of the Year should have a minimum of one year’s experience in the sector.
 
The Outstanding Newcomer of the Year recognises practitioners who recently joined the sector. For example, someone who is newly qualified or taking up an apprentice role. These individuals require a minimum of six months’ involvement in an Alliance member’s early years environment.
 
 
The winners will be announced at the on Friday 1 June 2018. The conference will explore the theme: Minds matter: protecting the wellbeing of children and pracitioners in the early years and will be held at Hilton Bankside in Southwark, London.
