30-hours debate to take place at House of Commons

Labour MP Ruth George has organised a debate on the impact of the in the House of Commons this week. She is asking the government to assess the offer and urgently address funding levels in the next Budget and will be seeking answers from children and families minister Robert Goodwill.
The debate will take place in Westminster Hall on Thursday 12 October from 3pm to 4.30pm. Ruth George has encouraged providers to contact their MPs to request that they attend the debate and raise their concerns about the offer.

Before the debate begins, shadow early years minister Tracy Brabin will address a meeting at the House of Commons with representatives from the sector, including Neil Leitch, chief executive of the Alliance, Jo Morris from Champagne Nurseries Lemonade Funding, Liz Bayram from PACEY and Stella Ziolkowski from NDNA.
Robert Goodwill has also been invited to join the meeting after the debate in Westminster Hall ends.
