Alliance publishes 30-hour guide

Aug 3, 2016The Alliance has produced an updated guide to the most frequently asked questions about the 30-hour free entitlement offer, due to roll out in 2017.
The nine-page document covers common queries on a range of topics including funding, eligibility and delivery of the offer.
With the recent news that the introduction of the schools funding formula is to be delayed until 2018/19, the government’s plans regarding the parallel introduction of a national early years funding formula and, by extension, the implementation of the 30-hour free entitlement scheme remain uncertain.
However, as it stands, the plans are still going ahead and so it is important that early years providers have access to all the information about the scheme needed to prepare.
All information in the guide is accurate as of August 2016, and will be updated as needed going forward.
