Alliance welcomes proposal to change no-notice routine inspections for early years

27th March 2015

Responding to Nick Hudson’s comments in Nursery World today about the proposal to end routine no-notice inspections of early years settings, Alliance chief executive Neil Leitch said:

“The Alliance welcomes news that early years settings are likely to receive identical notice periods for routine °ϲʹ inspections as schools.

"The change, proposed in the Common Inspection Framework, brings equity and consistency across the inspection process and Alliance members will be pleased that this anomaly is likely to be addressed in the coming months.”
