The Early Years Alliance has today launched two new marketing and social media online training courses for early years providers, in partnership with CPD-certified online training providers EduCare.

Social Media Marketing for Early Years Settings is aimed at practitioners with an interest in marketing their setting, including owners, managers or anyone with responsibility for marketing or communications.
This course provides practical information for practitioners on how to launch and manage their social media presence and to explore the best ways to use digital platforms to promote their early years' service.
The course content includes practical advice on how social media can help early years businesses, using analytics to measure social media impact and success, and responding to comments and any negative issues.
Marketing Your Early Years Service is aimed at practitioners with an interest in marketing their setting, and aims to help participants to better understand, retain and attract customers. The course also includes information and practical advice on how to develop and implement a marketing plan, how to make the most of customer enquiries, and how to measure marketing success.
One CPD credit per course is available to participants who successfully complete the courses, alongside a downloadable certificate for their records.

Commenting, marketing manager at the Alliance, Kathleen Quirke, said:
“The last few months have been especially challenging for providers looking to market and promote their childcare setting and engage with parents without being able to rely on open days, in-person setting tours and face-to-face interaction as they normally would.
“That’s why we’re so pleased to be partnering with EduCare once more to deliver two training courses that offer practical advice for providers who are looking to embrace digital communications as a new way of marketing their setting."
