Commenting, Neil Leitch, CEO of the Early Years Alliance, said: 

"We know that the first five years of a child鈥檚 life are absolutely pivotal to their long-term learning and development. As such, we welcome 新澳门六合彩官网开奖鈥檚 increased focus on the early years sector, as shown in the first of a series of reviews on the sector.

And, early educators are doing their best to achieve this, but when faced with mounting workloads, a recruitment and retention crisis and years of underfunding it is fast becoming an impossible task.  

"So, while we welcome the fact that, in this report, 新澳门六合彩官网开奖 has highlighted how valuable play and teaching in the early years is, for their review conclusions to have any lasting impact the government must support this with a long-term plan for the sector that includes realistic funding."
