Fox Hollies Nursery is an Alliance childcare service located in West Midlands, Acocks Green, Birmingham.
We offer 52 аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÙÍø¿ª½±-registered places and are assessed as Good by аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÙÍø¿ª½±.
Our committed, friendly and well-qualified nursery team provides high quality care and learning opportunities for children aged between 0-5 years.
We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) with a focus on learning through play and actively encourage parents to become involved in the life of the nursery.
We are open from 8.00am - 6.00pm Monday to Friday, 52 weeks of the year, excluding bank holidays and three staff training days.

About us
Fox Hollies Nursery offers a stimulating approach to early years development and learning for very young children. Within a safe, friendly and fun environment, children are supported by qualified, caring staff in developing a wide range of skills and interests. The children enjoy learning through play experiences in bright indoor and outdoor play areas with exciting outings planned regularly.
We are managed by the Alliance, one of the largest providers of childcare in England with over 50 years experience delivering childcare and practical, professional support to early years practitioners.
Our nursery plans its activities in accordance with the EYFS with a strong focus on exploratory, imaginative play and healthy eating. We recognise and understand the huge benefits that free flow play has on the positive development of very young children. Every child in our care is supported by a key person who understands their individual needs and offers special care and support to them.
Rigorous health & safety and safeguarding policies and procedures are in place to ensure that every child is protected and feels safe and happy with us.

Our welcoming entrance to nursery has a fully equipped camera and intercom system which is all also password protected. Upon entrance you will see our very own Newspaper which will inform you of all the exciting and up and coming actitivies taking place within the nursery, there will also be reminders and important dates for your diaries for you to remember for nursery life.
Our Menu
Our yummy menu consists of varied options,including meat, halal, vegetarian options, vegan and dairy free amongst other dietary requirements to suit all of our childrens needs. We have also received an Accreditation in Early Years Nutrition and this ensures our menu is full of nourishing and wholesome foods.
Our Staff Team
Our staff team consists of many skills and talents and we like to showcase them all on our staff team board.
Parent Corner
Our Parent Corner is a place where you can see all our certificates,policies and also browse some our childrens amazing work. Take a few minutes out of your day and relax, the office is also availble for you to ask any questions or queries you may have.
Garden Area
We have a big outdoor area, which also inculde our very own Eco-garden. Where we have grown our very own apple and raspberry tree. The children in enjoying going on a mini beast hunt and exploring the outdoor area.

Our Team
Our well qualified, committed and experienced team work hard to create a caring and learning environment in the nursery. We know that every child develops differently and at different times. Every child has a key person who understands how their individual needs and interests. This helps us to ensure that every child feels involved, stimulated and happy in our care.
We follow rigorous staff recruitment, selection and supervision procedures to ensure that anyone joining our team undertake relevant security checks including Disclosure and Barring Service disclosure, references and qualification checks. Parents are reassured knowing that child protection and safeguarding underpins every aspect of our practice and will continue to remain a priority for us.
Your child's 'key person'
Every child who joins the nursery receives support from an experienced member of the team. They are responsible for your child’s individual needs and known as the ‘key person’. The key person is your main point of contact however all nursery staff are happy to feedback on your child’s developmental progress on a daily basis or discuss any concerns with you. They will also keep records of your child’s progress and achievement, which are always available for you to see and contribute towards.
Your child’s key person will make time to find out from you about your child’s interests, likes, dislikes and special requirements. Please share any important or useful information when you register your child and throughout their time with us. This helps us to give your child the most appropriate care and learning to suit their developmental, emotional and physical needs. You can access and contribute your views to your child's progress and achievements in their records.
Our team
Jasvir - Early Years Manager
Jasvir is Fox Hollies Manager. Jasvir has worked within the Early Years Sector for 15 years and currently holds a BTEC National Diploma in Childcare and 1st line in management. Jasvir is the setting Senco and her passion for creativity and quality shows throughout our setting. Jasvir strives to ensure our setting is inclusive and we support all our children.
Hafsah-Early Years Assistant Manager
Hafsah has been working in children care over 5 years, also has a childcare qualification.
Sandeep – Lead Early Years Educator
Sandeep is Toddler Room Senior Nursery Worker and has been working at Fox Hollies Nursery for 10 years. Sandeep is qualified Level 3 in Childcare Sandeep strives for quality care within her room and as a senior member of staff ensures this is carried across the nursery.
Satvinder – Lead Early Years Educator
Satvinder has recently become Level 3 qualified in Childcare and has worked very hard to be appointed Pre-school Room Senior. Satvinder strives for quality and excellence within her room and enjoys working alongside parents to ensure all children's daily routines are followed whilst at the nursery.
Stephine - Lead Early Years Educator
Stephine has her level 3 in Childcare his current working on our Baby Room, Stephine strive for the children to meet their best ability.
Falak - Early Years Educator
Falak is our level 3 who is working within the Pre-school Room. Falak strives to ensure that all of her children are happy and settled within the pre-school room and has a strong parent partnership with all of her parents and families.
Jayna- Early Years Educator
Jayna is our level 3 who is working in our Toddler room.
Aylsha- Early Years Educator
Aylsha is new member of staff, who is working in our baby room, she has her level 3 in childcare.
Oletta -Early Years Assistant Educator
Oletta is currently working in our Baby room, working toward her level 2 in childcare.

Jayna currently working in Toddler room
Amina –Bank Staff- Early Years Assistant
Amina is a Nursery Assistant within the setting Amina is qualified in Level 3 Childcare. Amina strives to encourage children's Teaching and Learning and prepare children ready for school.
Sidra-Bank Staff - Early Years Educator
Sidra is one of our new staff member, she have a level 3 in childcare and is based in the all rooms
Jaya Ladwan- Bank Staff- Early Years Educator
Ladwan is one of our new staff member at Fox Hollies, she works a cross the all rooms.

FAQs
Do you offer funded entitlement for 3 year olds?
Children are eligible for the funding in the term following their third birthday. The funding is available for 15 hours per week.
Do you offer funded entitlement for 2 year olds?
If your child is two-years old, your child may be eligible to attend the 2 year old funded childcare programme. The funding is available for 15 hours per week. Please ask us.
What sessions do you offer?
We offer Full Time places 8.00am-6.00pm
Morning Session 8.00am-1:00pm
Afternoon Session 1:00pm-6:00pm
Funded sessions are as follows:
2 Year Funding Am Session 8:00am-1:00pm or Afternoon Session 1:00pm - 6:00pm 3 x days a week.
3-4 Year Old Funding Am Session 9:00am-12:00pm or Afternoon Session 1:00pm-4:00pm 5 x days a week
We also offer stretch funding - Which your child can attend nursery all your around 51 weeks.
Do you provide hot meals?
We have a a cook onsite who provides hot meals aswell as a variety of hot and cold teas.
Are you able to accommodate children with different dietary requirements?
Yes, all childrens dietary requirements are met through our extensive menu.
What qualifications do your staff have?
All nursery workers within the setting are Level 3 qualified, Nursery Assistants are Level 2 qualified or working towards a Level 2 qualification.
How quickly can my child start?
Fox Hollies Nursery encourages a settling in process for children aswell as parents to ensure children are feeling confident and secure within nursery and is important for staff and parents to work together to enure this can happen. Settling in processes will begin hourly and as your child becomes more confident we will then begin to extend the settling in sessions.
Baby Room
Our baby room has wide range activity, the babies enjoy our calm and stimulating environment.
Toddler Room
Our toddler room environment is set for the toddler in helping them becoming more independent, with self-help skills, including potty training.
Pre- school Room
Our pre-school room is one of our biggest room in the nursery. The pre-school room environment is set for the children in preparing them for their next step in going to school.
